Law Firm Management Systems Guiding Principle

At Online Legal Software, now called “Online Law Firm Management”, customer service is not a department, it is everybody’s job. As part of our sales process you are likely to speak to the Vice President of Sales. As part of the training process you are likely to speak to the President of the Company who designed the legal management software you will be using. Your ideas about how we can make legal software more helpful to you are not only sought out, they have been the source of most of the important features we have been able to incorporate into our legal software during the thirty three years we have been serving US law firms.

A rather shy lawyer from India who trained in London in the late 19th century, and did not make a very good living as a lawyer, but left the world a better place, put the guiding principle of Online Legal Software rather well. In 1890 in London he stated:

“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

Mahatma Gandhi

We try to honor this principle of customer service every day.
